after school

We love coming home to play with Nelle everyday! Henry is doing great at ECDC and we love Ms. Sadye, Ms. Vonn, and Ms. Emily. It's hard to leave your child everyday, but when he's happy it is MUCH easier. Plus, we have lots of friends now. We are also rolling over constantly and learning to sit and crawl!

Football at the Robertsons

Our family loves college football. Henry has no choice. This picture was taken Saturday night during the Alabama-Georgia game after our return from Auburn. What you don't see is the picture of Henry Saturday morn in his Auburn jersey tailgating on the Plains. Henry had a BIG football day. War Eagle!! RTR!

NYC, Federer... what more can you ask for?

Patsy, my mother-in-law, went to NYC with friends to stay at her sister's place a few weeks ago. They were out one night at a small hotel bar and ran into Roger Federer. It just happened to be the weekend of the US Open. For those that don't know, I'm a tennis enthusiast.

Football, Family, and Fun!

Bill's dad and sisters came to help him with Henry a couple of weekends ago when I was supposed to be out of town. My trip was cancelled due to Fay or Gustav or one in between, but I wanted our family to come anyway. Sometimes Moms just need a day to let their arms relax. :) They enjoyed watching the Auburn game, then the Alabama game, while Henry enjoyed all the attention he got from his aunts and granddaddy.

The latter pictures are from this past weekend in Eufaula.

This past weekend my dad and brother joined my Uncle Jim and cousin Jimbo in New York for a Yankees' game and Mets' game (before their stadiums are torn down) and Mom was home alone. So, Bill and I packed up Henry and Nelle and had a spend the night party at the Gaither home. Saturday morn, Henry, Mom, and I shopped in town while Bill and Big Bill played golf, then Henry enjoyed the afternoon in his granddaddy's pool. However much fun the pool was, I'm afraid the scooter was MUCH, much more fun! Rascal is Keitt and Big Bill's new Jack Russell pup. They've also added another family member... a yellow lab pup, Hooker (they found her on a street corner). I'm sure to have pictures of her later.

September... already a busy month!

My brother Will has always been one to keep us on our toes! After surviving cancer as a teenager, he decided to be all he could be (no, not the army...) at Auburn - Plainsman, SGA, he won the Price Is Right, Whistler (black diamonds, of course!), etc. He even ventured to a third world country last year for 3 weeks with a couple of friends and a backpack... literally. So, when he told us that he would be hiking the Grand Tetons in Wyoming this past week, we weren't surprised.

First day of school

Henry started daycare at ECDC this month. ECDC is the Early Childhood Development Center at our church. I had a horrible time leaving him the first day. After crying for an hour, my sweet mother-in-law went by to check on him. Henry, of course, was fine. He was happily playing in the exer-saucer and entertaining himself by watching the other babies.
